Hunting Season has begun!

Laton drew a deer hunt in Southern Nevada this year. He was really excited, as this was his first deer hunt. Barry took him down to a friends place for his hunt. Chaz had gotten permission from friends so they could cross through private property to get to where they wanted to hunt. Barry said they saw tons of huge deer! The first day Laton got a 40 yard shot at a nice buck and his gun misfired :( Laton went on the black powder hunt so he could go early in the season. He ended up bringing home a nice 4x4 to put on the wall. Chaz' friend John was the one that officially helped Laton get his deer. He knew where some bucks were laying down. He and Laton belly crawled into the area for Laton to get a good shot. Laton was the first member of the Jones family to ever kill a deer with a Black Powder Rifle! Great job Laton! Chaz really enjoyed hunting with Laton and helping him get his first deer. Before they left Chaz gave Laton his Black Powder gun so he would have his own. Thanks Chaz!
