Barry was filling the mop bucket at work and the hose slipped and hit his foot. This is what happens when really hot water hits your skin. His skin kind of sluffed off. Make sure you check your hot water heaters settings. We had no idea ours was set as high as it was. This picture was taken 5 days after it happened- it actually looks alot better in this picture than when it originally happened. I couldn't stomach to look at it at first.

Holy Cow! Poor Barry. That was some HOT water. It boiled his skin away. Yow! Makes me sick to my stomach to look at.
DANG!!! OUCH!! Good thing your a cowboy! I couldn't take that, it looks so painful!!
Travis or Trevor one (or maybe both) have turned up our water heater twice now. I wish they had a childproof lock for that. I have no idea they've done it till I fell the HOT water. Katy

Barry, oh my goodness, you need to be careful. I just can't believe that it was that hot. Good thing you are tough and rough, most normal people would be crippled by that.Hope it is healing fast. Hang in there. Love sis
Barry, What is it with your feet- first a broken heel and then this. Maybe you should throw in the towel to Little Caesars and come back to Turlock. Sounds like you have a dangerous job!!! We miss you guys-
