These pics should have been posted weeks ago. But when you have 3 weeks of guests you don't tend to get alot of blogging done :) I would rather have to play catch up than not have great fun with our company. We went to our ward lake day at Tahoe, it was great fun. The ladies of our ward meet each Tuesday and Thursday at the lake and spend the day. We have only made it once on these days, but we had a great time and will take full advantage of this activity next year. I think once the kids go back to school we should still have ladies day at the lake!

The Dayleys' were here from Nampa Idaho visiting over Jaidyn's birthday. They celebrated with us. We didn't do alot of celebrating as Jaidyn didn't feel well. She had been running a fever due to cutting teeth UGGHH! Her first two teeth popped through while we were at Lake Tulloch and the top two popped through a few days after her birthday. Why can't they come one at a time and cause little discomfort???????? She didn't even open her presents or eat the cake. As soon as we sang she layed on my shoulder and went to sleep.

My Baby is 1 Today!

I can't believe Jaidyn is one today. She is such a sweet baby. Time just

seems to pass faster each year! Happy Birthday Jaidyn and I am so

glad you picked our family.

Many things we love about Jaidyn

1. Her Smile- she has a huge gummy smile!

2. How she says "Hi"- she loves to tell everyone "Hi"

3. Her hugs- she loves to give hugs and pats you on the back while doing so.

4. Her eating habits- this little girl will eat anything- the only thing she has ever

said no to is Avacado. (and I don't blame her I don't like it either)

5. Meghan likes her little voice and all her little words.

6. Logan LOVES how she prefers him over the other children.

7. Laton loves to swing with her and play with her outside.

8. Her prayers- she loves to say prayers with us and fold her arms.

9. How she plays Itsy Bitsy Spider! She twists her hands so cute.

10. Her sweet Spirit! She truly is a wonderful baby! We love you to pieces.

Reno Temple Trip!

Friday night Barry and I went to the Reno Temple. We hadn't been in a year :( I can't believe it had been that long! Shame on us. Anyways, it was our ward temple night and we decided since Jaidyn was almost one we could leave her. Arianne Evans had kindly offered to watch Jaidyn so Logan wouldn't have to. We decided on Sunday we were going and by Tuesday I was changing my mind and thinking I really couldn't leave Jaidyn! On Thurday I got a call from Staci Creswell and they were inviting us to go along with them and another family. This was perfect! I had committed to someone else and was not going to back out. Friday morning I did not feel well (only when I thought about leaving Jaidyn). I just told myself I was going and everything would be fine! We ended up having a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. The ride there and back was entertaining to say the least! And Brandon, don't forget to call---- no wait --we will call you! :) I have really missed going to the temple and the feelings you have there. Jaidyn did great and survived not being with me for 6 hours (how, I will never know)! We are now back on track and going to try to go once a month. So, if you are in the area and want to visit the Reno Temple- give us a call.

EFY Ogden Utah

Logan was able to attend EFY (Especially for Youth) this year in Ogden Utah. It was

held at Weber State University. He went with some of his good friends- Logan Conner, Zane Veater & Jacob Gauthier. EFY is a youth camp sponsored by our church. During the week they do lots of different activities including scripture study, testimony meetings & DANCES!!! Logan had a blast and told me it was a great experience! He can't wait until next year. I am so glad he was able to have this faith building experience. His favorite part of EFY was the testimony meeting. He and others had a chance to share their beliefs and feelings. He was very touched by this. I am grateful for every opportunity my children have to feel the spirit!

Jaidyn's First Tooth

Jaidyn had a hard time the first few days of our trip. I thought she might be teething as she had had a temperature for about 10 days. Low and behold- on Tuesday- July 21st her first tooth popped through. She immediately seemed to feel better! Thank goodness. Yesterday her second tooth made an appearance! I can't believe she will be 1 next week. :(

Lake Tulloch Part 2- The ROPE Swing

Here are some great pictures from our adventures at the rope swing. We have found 2 different locations where the kids like to play on the swing. You can see from the pictures one is much higher than the other. Everyone (including Jill & I) jumped this year! I should also add to the list the 3 babies! The little girls were coaxed into jumping!!! They actually had an easier time taking the plunge than I did. Barry- he is always goofing off and doing some trick. I believe he was doing a flip here.
