Jaidyn loves to eat banana cookies, but makes the biggest messes. Good thing she is washable :)

Nothing like easing back into it

Well we are up to about 8 minutes now. That is how long I get to work out until childcare comes and tells me that my daughter is not happy. I have been going to the gym now for 3 weeks and only twice stayed there more than 8 minutes. Once because Jaidyn was home with Barry and the other was a blessed day that Jaidyn decided she would stay and play. Jaidyn does not like going to childcare, and particularly does not like the lady in there. I think it is because she is really loud and touchy. I have great intentions of kicking my butt back into shape. Too bad my body doesn't realize this and comply without the workouts :) Oh well, we will try again after vacation.

Dear Toothfairy...............

Barry asked Meghan to come sit by him last night, as he wanted to tell her a little something. Those of you who know Barry know that he likes to joke around. Meghan has lost 3 teeth in the last 6 weeks and another is getting VERY loose. He asked her if she knew how tight the economy was right now and she said yes. He then told her that the toothfairy didn't have a lot of money and that she wouldn't be paying for teeth for a while. Meghan replied with "That is o.k. I will pay for my own teeth, the toothfairy can take my teeth and I will put my own money under my pillow." How Sweet, Sweet, Sweet that was! I wonder if she will pay for my teeth also. I might just pull a few out :)

Happy 8 month B-day Jaidyn!

I can't believe she is 8 months old! She is such a joy in our family. She is learning lots of new fun things like waving bye-bye and crawling. She is growing bigger- She now weighs 13.4lbs and is 25 1/2" long! I can't believe she is finally over 13 pounds! It makes it easy to pack her around. Meghan and the boys do lots of this. I think that is why it has taken her so long to crawl. She is never on the ground!!! I love to hold and cuddle her, she still loves to ride in her sling. On Sat. for baseball she was in her sling for 8 hours and never complained once.

Latons First Day of Baseball!

Laton had opening day of baseball on Sat. We spent the day watching he and Logan play ball. They both had double headers! WOW! Laton played in left field and did a great job. He hit well also. This will be an exciting year with both boys playing ball!

Varsity Baseball

Logan played in his first Varsity baseball game on Tuesday. They played in Fallon Nevada. I was skeptical as to wether I should drive over there to see the game. I didn't want to drive an hour and see Logan sit the bench. (Sorry, I do go to support the team, but truthfully, I am there to watch my child play. :) I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. Logan was starting and they started him at 3rd base! Yea. (1st Picture) He prefers short stop, but was happy to be playing infield. He played the entire game and did a great job. This last picture is the ball stuck in the backdrop behind the plate, his first hit was a foul tip. It was funny to see the ball hit the fence and stick. Great Job Logan!

Latons Picture of Historic Dayton Nevada

Laton went for a walk with his class to take pictures. The school is having a picture contest. The kids are suppossed to try and capture pictures that represent historical Dayton. This was his favorite picture. I dont' know if you can tell or not, but along the river their are two geese. For those of you who know Laton, know that he would probably have some kind of wildlife in his picture. :) I let him play with the picture on pic nic. I thought he did a great job!

SpaghettiO's

Meghan came home from school the other day and asked if I could buy some Spaghettio's. I was shocked as we have never had those before. Just not something I have bought in the past- I am not big on canned food. I bought a few cans and she had to have some when she got home from school that same day. I decided they were soft enough for Jaidyn to try as well. As you can see from the pics Jaidyn LOVED them. At one point she was sucking on the tray of the high chair to get more in her mouth. She would also stick her entire hand in her mouth- so cute.
You can also see in Meghan's picture that she is missing 3 teeth. They all fell out within 1 month of each other. 2 of them fell out within a day of each other. She also has 2 more that are loose. She loves the toothfairy to come visit! But sometimes that darn toothfairy takes a few days to remember! Mom and dad have to send her (toothfairy) an email to see about when she is going to be this way! They (toothfairies) travel much slower in the colder weather! :)

Surprise in the Mail!

When I went to get the mail today we had a surprise Easter package from Grandma Cindi! The kids weren't home yet so I thought I would let Jaidyn open it first and then we would put it back together. Jaidyn loved playing with the Easter Grass and she found a favorite "Sea Egg" that she would not part with! So much for acting like it hadn't been opened when the other kids got home. They were still very excited.

Inside the basket were eggs that were shaped like sea creatures, they were the cutest thing I have ever seen. Jaidyn loved the orange one with the star on it.

Meghan couldn't resist putting the grass on Jaidyn's head. She just laughed and laughed!

She also sent bubbles that were scented. Jaidyn kept trying to grab the bubbles. She would get a very worried look on her face when they would pop in her hand.
My kids are pumped up for Easter now! I love this time of year, almost as much as I love Christmastime! The flowers are blooming and the weather is starting to get a little warmer. During this next month we will Celebrate Christ overcoming Death, and the pricipal that we will all one day live again!
